Xinjiang - Gem on Silk Road
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region locates in the Northwest of China. Covering more than 1.6 million square kilometers, this region is reputed as the largest political subdivision of China. With a population of 16,620,000, there are more than 47 ethnic groups, such as the people of Uygur, Han, Kazakhstan, Hui, etc. Each ethnic has its own culture and tradition.
