Danoe is one of the best guides I ever had in the time I travelled around the world for his excellent guide, euthusiasm and passion to service delivery. He was beyond expection for caring about our health and interest. He has shown a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm.
The driver Norbu was very cooperative and professional. The road condition was quite bad but that was for him to show his excellent skill.
We have known and gained a lot through the trip. Tibet people, culture, history...

Silk Road Impression The Silk Road has a history over 2000 years so far. With a length of more than 7000km, the Silk Road starts from Chang'an (current Xi'an), traversing the Chinese provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Xinjiang, getting to the Pamirs before entry in the Middle Asia, Western Asia, East Europe and finally reaches Rome by the Mediterranean Sea. The 4000km length track is within the Chinese territory, exceeding half of its total touch. Historically, the existence of the Silk Road facilitated the exchanges of the Eastern and Western cultures and trade boosted. The interaction of civilizations between the East replica borse and the West since then implemented. China's Four Inventions (papermaking, typography, and fire powder, compass) had introduced to Europe along the road, while on the other hand the fluencies of the Western Cultures had found its way to China the very first time in history. In a broader sense, the Silk Road is indeed a bridge of friendship that linking together the peoples of its reach - Asian, Europeans and Africans. There are countless historical monuments and relic in the Chinese part of Silk Road, for instance, the Terra-cotta Warriors in Xi'an (the eighth wonder of the world), Mogao Caves in Dunhuang (treasure house of the oriental arts), Loulan Old Town (a state kingdom at the Western Regions in China's Han Dynasty) and the Ruins of the Gaochang old town. In addition to these age-old historical sites, the natural landscapes along the road are temptation, e.g. the Firm Mountain at Turpan, the Birds Island in the mighty Koko Nor Lake, and the Heavenly Lake of Mt. Tianshan. Many ethnic groups have been living along the Silk Road areas, some of whom are naturally good singer and passionate dancers such as Uigurs, Kirghiz and Tajik etc.. They are unique in their lifestyles and religions faith, and their traditional cultures still been circulated and cultivated. These people are the soul spirit of the Silk Road and thus making it a enchanting place that worthwhile visiting. |
