Desert Adventure in Western China China is one of the countries which are rich in desert. The desert are wide spread, like an arch stretches in an unbroken chain on the Northwest, Northeast and North of China. From north to south the desert belt is 600 kilometers wide and 4000 kilometers long from east to west, covering over 0.71 million square kilometers, and about 1.28 million square kilometers together with the gobi, that’s to say, 13 percent of the entire national landscape. The Badan Jilin Desert, known as the "Mount Qomolangma of Desert", is the most beautiful desert all over China. |
